Combatting the Negativity Around Sleep Training with Sara Skiles

Sara Skiles is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Certified Doula, Advanced Newborn Care Specialist, and a mom of two amazing boys. As a new parent Sara bought into a lot of the negative messaging around sleep training that is so pervasive on social media and spread amongst circles of friends. On this episode Sara shares her personal journey towards a mindset shift that allowed her to make a change to the way her children slept, which greatly benefitted her entire family. We also discuss ways to combat the negativity when the topic of sleep training arises as this is often a controversial topic of conversation amongst parents and professionals in the parenting space.
